Our Dietitian
Amy Santo, MS RD CDN, graduated from Skidmore College with a B.S. in Psychology. She then went on to New York University where she received a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition. She completed her clinical training from New York-Presbyterian Hospital, after which she received her credentials as a Registered Dietitian.
Amy counsels with patients with various medical conditions, including high cholesterol, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, and obesity. Amy also works with Northern Westchester Hospital developing educational materials, outpatient nutrition classes, and teaching patients to cook in the new Teaching Kitchen.
Amy co-founded Your Secret Ingredient, LLC, which focuses on in-home private nutrition counseling, literary consulting, and guest group lectures. Amy believes the secret to living nutritiously is learning the art of cooking, being physically active and exercising regularly, and practicing nutrition in moderation. Amy is working towards specializing in family and culinary nutrition for general wellness and chronic disease prevention and treatment.
Amy accepts many insurance plans and has both evening and Saturday hours. |
